what do your parents listen to?
this is quite an interesting question, i feel, because it can either heavily influence what you listen to, or spur you on to finding good music rather than the tripe your parents like.
the reason i ask is that my dad got an ipod for christmas and is nagging me to put all his albums on it for him, and as such i've got a pile of his albums sat here beside me. they include:-
rush - hemispheres
rush - permanent waves
rush - moving pictures
whitesnake - lovehunter <- really disturbing front cover when its your DAD giving you the album
motorhead - best of
thin lizzy - best of
ac/dc - if you want blood you've got it
zztop - eliminator
ac/dc - back in black
purple rainbows: best of deep purple, rainbow and gillian
