I've watched the trailer and it looks decent enough. I hope it is good. Comes out in July but so many cartoons have failed in their movie ventures I hope this is a success.

I've only seen a teaser trailer. I just hope it's better than the most recent seasons, heh!

I just hope it's better than the most recent seasons, heh! same here, I preffer family guy, seems like they are using this movie to keep the series alive, who knows how much longer can they continue, but what do I know I'm just guessing

Yeah the new episodes have gone downhill. I love family guy it's far better and I also like American Dad. I even think king of the hill is better than the simpsons now.

i am a diehard simpsons fan lol. i just love it. the new series are rubbish in comparison to the old stuff but i watch it any way. family guy and king of the hill are good too, probably better in terms of laughs-per-episode but, eh, old loyalties die hard lol. it's getting old and tired now i know. never mind i live in denial lol

I'm actually finding that I don't laugh so much at the older episodes, LOL! And I've been a fan since it first aired here. But I think it's just run it's course. Shows like Family Guy, American Dad, South Park and Drawn Together are pushing more envelopes and are much more 'adult' in terms of content and humour - The Simpsons used to be, but now it's becoming more 'family' orientated instead.
Hmm I had a point there but now I've lost it, LOL! Maybe my humour has changed and matured so the Simpsons is too "kiddie" for me now.
Don't get me wrong, there are some things about it that still make me laugh, but it's not the same kind of laugh I'd have if I was watching one of the other shows I mentioned before.

a lot of the new episodes are pretty extreme in comparison to the older episodes - they sort of had a story to go by or a moral, whereas a lot of the new ones are about sex or random accidents happening to homer, lol. but you're right, it does seem "kiddie" now. i probably only like it so much because my dad does

someone told me a while back that all the good writers had switched from the simpsons to family guy and that that should explain some changes in both shows lets not forget how long has the simpsons been on tv, we are bound to get bored of the same all characters sooner or later and probable turn to new shows like family guy
